Ex-Palmeiras, Danilo makes his debut for Nottingham in a draw with Bournemouth

Midfielder Danilo, a former Palmeiras player, made his debut for the Nottingham Forest team this Saturday, in a duel against Bournemouth, at Vitality Stadium. The game was valid for the 21st round of the English Premier League and ended in a 1-1 draw.

The Brazilian started the match on the bench, but was called on in the first half, just before the break for the break. He was present on the field throughout the final stage and helped his team, which had started behind on the scoreboard, to reach the tie.

Even making his first appearance, Danilo has already presented good numbers: he suffered a foul, made a pass that resulted in a finalization, disarmed a ball and hit 23 of the 24 touches he tried.

Another former athlete from Verdão, Gustavo Scarpa also participated in the match. He came on for Mangala, 15 minutes into the second half, but had a discreet performance.

With the result, Nottingham Forest remains close to the relegation zone of the Premier League, in 13th place, now with 21 points added (four ahead of the relegation). The next appointment is against Manchester United, for the first leg of the English League Cup semifinal, next Wednesday, at 5 pm (Brasília time).

Danilo’s signing was made official by Nottingham last Monday, alongside Palmeiras. Five days after the announcement, the midfielder was already in action for the new club. With the shirt of the Palestinian team, he played 141 games and scored 12 goals, in addition to winning six titles.
