Tottenham alumnus Anton Walks dies at 25 in two boat accidents
Tottenham Hotspur football club graduate Anton Walks died at the age of 25. This was reported on the website of the American Charlotte, for which the defender played in the 2022/2023 season.
“We are heartbroken at the loss of Anton Walks, a truly incredible father, a loving person and an outstanding person,” said the team’s sporting director Zoran Krneta. He added that Charlotte will never forget the contribution that the defender has made to the development of the club.
The athlete died as a result of the accident of two boats – the collision occurred on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, near Miami, where the team held a training camp. The defender had a little daughter.
Walks began his sports career in the English Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur. He is also known for playing for the British Atlanta United and Portsmouth. In December 2021, he received an invitation from Charlotte, which plays in the North American Major League Soccer (MLS).
