Inter Miami x Vasco: know information about the friendly in the USA

O Vasco closes the pre-season in the United States this Saturday with another friendly. Gigante da Colina faces Inter Miami, at Drive Pink Stadium, at 9:30 pm (Brasília time), in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

In addition to serving as a pre-season, Vasco’s trip to the United States aims to internationalize the club’s brand. On the field, coach Maurício Barbieri will have one more duel to observe the team and test players. In the first friendly match, Gigante da Colina lost to River Plate, from Argentina, by 3-0.

Barbieri even indicated that he will make changes to Vasco. Midfielder Jair and Argentine striker Orellano, thus, can gain a chance in the starting lineup in the duel with Inter Miami.

“The idea, yes, is that perhaps at the beginning there will be some changes, not much, the idea is to maintain the base. It may be that some players who have not started in this game. It is part of this process of evaluating, observing and changing, looking for variations and alternatives”, declared the coach of Vasco.

Jair and Orellano, two of Vasco’s novelties for the season, entered the second half in the duel with River Plate. There is an expectation that goalkeeper Ivan, another reinforcement, will gain minutes against Inter Miami.

“Right now our focus is on developing the team, on our way of playing. We are enjoying the experience of being here a lot, for many of the players who are here it is the first international experience, it has been a great learning experience”, added Barbieri.

Vasco’s rival this Saturday, Inter Miami has David Beckham, a former English star, as president. He is the owner of the club. It will be the team’s first pre-season friendly.
