ASA vice-president Aslanbek Badaev said the 16-year-old Kadyrov had expressed a desire to continue fighting and had signed a contract with the league. On December 23, Eli Kadyrov made his MMA debut, winning by technical knockout at the ACA tournament in Moscow. The opponent of the fighter was 17-year-old Islam Akbarov, for whom the duel also turned out to be the first. The referee stopped the fight in the third minute.
In November 2021, Eli Kadyrov had a boxing fight with a representative of North Ossetia, Khetag Khatkarov. The Chechen athlete also won by technical knockout.
