President of Santos Laguna confirms that Ayrton Preciado will leave the club and says: ‘With what happened with him, more detailed evaluations are made; looking for committed people

Last December, Ayrton Preciado had expressed his desire to return to Emelec and even indicated that there would be no problem on the economic issue. Apparently his aspiration is close to materializing.

Dante Elizalde, executive president of the Torreón team, confirmed that the Ecuadorian soccer player is in negotiations to leave the team and the leadership has given him a free hand to do so.

“Ayrton intends to leave, we agree with it, he is trying to resolve this situation and we are going to give him all the facilities so that it can happen,” Elizalde specified at a press conference.

“What happened with Ayrton changed the way of making transfers and not only in Santos, but in other clubs, since the evaluations are done in a more thorough way, with more parameters and economic care. They are looking for committed people, who want to give everything for this club”, added the manager.

In recent days, Eduardo Fentanes, coach of Santos Laguna, was clear in admitting that the Ecuadorian was in talks with the Aztec board to terminate his contract.

“Ayrton has not joined 100%, it is a reality and I know that he is in talks with the board (for his possible departure), I am up to that point,” replied the Santista trainer without giving further details.

Likewise, José Pileggi, president of the electrical companies, had mentioned that there were dialogues with the footballer and that it would be “a luxury” to have him in Miguel Rondelli’s team. (D)
