Grace Brown wins the last stage and takes the final victory of the Tour Down Under

the australian Grace Brown (FDJ Suez) won the third and final stage of the Tour Down Under female and was awarded the final victory, in a test that returned three years later after overcoming the pandemic.

In the 93.2-kilometre stage between Adelaide and Campbelltown, attacks followed one another throughout the day, but it was on a climb with a few kilometers to go when the test was decided.

the australian Amanda Spratt (Trek – Segafredo) attacked and got a small advantage, then joined Brown and both managed to reach the final stretch with a slight advantage. In the long sprint between the two runners, Brown did not give option to spratt and claimed victory.

The peloton arrived 13 seconds behind the duo, with what that Brown took the final victory. spratt was second on the stage and overall, 10 seconds behind, while the New Zealander georgina williams (EF Education-TIBCO-SVB) was third on the stage and also overall, finishing 19 seconds behind the winner.
