After Ansu Fati, Barcelona reports injuries to Nico González and Eric García

Barcelona conceded the tie by 3 to 3 to Celta de Vigo, after going to half-time winning by 3 to 0, in a match of the 13th round of the Spanish Championship. However, the result is not the only problem for the Catalans. After reporting injury to Ansu Fati, the club announced on Sunday that Nico González and Eric García had injured.

The midfielder suffered an overload on the adductor in his left thigh, while the defender had a calf problem in his right leg. As a result, Nico González will not appear for the Spanish under-21 team, and Eric García will also be out of the Spanish first-team matches in Data Fifa.

“Nico González has an overload on the adductor in his left thigh and will not join the Spanish Under-21 team,” said Barcelona.

“Pro team player Eric García has an overload on the calf of the right loss and will not incorporate Spain,” he announced.

Barcelona’s list of injured players is extensive. In addition to the aforementioned athletes, Martin Braithwaite, Sergio Aguero, Pedri, Sergi Roberto, Sergiño Dest, Gerard Piqué, Ousmane Dembelé, Neto and Moussa Wagué are in charge of the medical department.

Barcelona returns to the field on November 20, against Espanyol. The match will be at Camp Nou, at 5 pm (GMT), valid for the 14th round of the Spanish Championship and should mark the debut of Xavi as the team’s coach.
