“Enock fell ill in Zambia and is currently undergoing precautionary tests. Our medical team is in communication with the hospital to help if needed. The club would like to thank the many supporters for their messages and support.”
The midfielder reached the Premier League in 2021 and stopped playing due to the discovery of a hereditary heart disease. In December 2022, Mwepu was announced as the new member of Brighton’s youth coaching staff.
After the news was confirmed, the world of football began to support the situation of the Zambian. On social networks, FIFA left its message in support of Mwepu.
Get well soon, Enock 💙
