Railway wins Deportivo Cuenca for Libertadores Feminina; Avaí Kindermann and Santiago Morning tie

This Saturday, the railway beat Deportivo Cuenca, 2-1, in the 2nd round of the Copa Libertadores Feminina. The match was played in Paraguay, at the Manuel Ferreira Stadium, in Asunción.

Rafa Mineira, with a penalty, opened the scoring for the Araraquara team at four in the second half. Three minutes later, Madeleine Riera left everything the same. At 13, Luana scored the second of the home team and guaranteed the triumph.

With the result, Ferroviária leads Group A and has six points. Cuenca, in turn, lost the two games they played. The team from São Paulo returns to the pitch on Wednesday, at 5:30 pm (GMT), when it faces Independiente Santa Fe. The Ecuadorian club will face Sol de America at 7:45 pm.

Avaí Kindermann and Santiago Morning tie

Also this Saturday, Avaí Kindermann drew goalless with Santiago Morning at Arsenio Erico Stadium, in the Paraguayan capital.

The Santa Catarina club, vice leader of Group B with four points, returns to the field on Wednesday, at 5:30 pm (GMT), when they face Cerro Porteño. The Chilean team faces Yaracuyanos at 19:45.
