Russian fighter Magomedov appreciated the contract with the UFC with the phrase “let’s start the invasion of America”
Russian mixed martial arts fighter (MMA) Sharabutdin Magomedov on his Instagram (the social network is banned in the Russian Federation; belongs to the Meta corporation, which is recognized as extremist in Russia and banned) appreciated the signing of a contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
“We have swum close to the shores of the UFC and will soon begin an invasion of America to claim the most valuable treasure!” – wrote the fighter. Magomedov, 28, also thanked the organization and its president, Dana White, for signing the contract.
On December 29, it became known that Magomedov signed a contract with the UFC. The deal was handled by the manager of former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, Ali Abdelaziz. It is expected that the Russian fighter will make his debut in the promotion in May-June 2023.
Magomedov won seventeen victories (13 of them by knockout) and did not suffer a single defeat in his professional career.
