“Welcome to glorious Botafogo, Segovia! The defender is Fogão’s new reinforcement for the season”, announced the albinegro team.
In a series of posts, the Brazilian club highlighted the presence of the 25-year-old player. “Ready to defend the glorious”, and “Segovia is from Fogão”, published the club.
The Ecuadorian defender arrives preceded by four good seasons in Independiente del Valleframe with which won two South American Cups, one LigaPro and one Ecuador Cup between 2019 and 2022.
“Passed the medical exams, the defender signed a definitive contract until the end of 2025″, indicated Botafogo.
The tricolor defender joined the works with the club at the Espaço Lonier, the team’s pre-season headquarters, under the command of the Portuguese Luis Castro.
