In the artillery stage, Kaká Mendes celebrates his evolution in Saudi Arabia

Last Tuesday, midfielder Kaká Mendes scored two goals in Al Akhdoud’s 4-0 victory over Al Ain, in the first division of Saudi Arabia. The Brazilian has been on the team since last season, where he was the country’s Series B champion and one of the team’s main highlights.

“I’ve been growing game by game, it’s a very difficult championship, I’m giving my best in training to be able to give my best on the field and as a result of my work, things are happening,” said the player.

The team was doing badly in the championship and was in the relegation zone, but they have not lost for four games and are three straight victories. Al Akhdoud are already at the top of the table, two points behind third-placed Hajer. The top three in the competition move up to the Premier League of Saudi Arabia.

“Thank God our team found the path to victory, we can dream of better things like access. We are working game by game for this to happen, but we have to stay focused and each game be considered a final.”

Kaká Mendes is 28 years old and has stood out in Rio de Janeiro football, passing through Cabofriense and Sampaio Corrêa. Before coming to these teams, he went through Flamengo’s under-20 team, where he participated in some training in the professional team in 2011 and went through Santos’ under-23 team.
