Buffalo Bills player Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field and received emergency medical attention before an ambulance took him to the hospital during Monday’s NFL game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Hamlin was struck, scrambled to his feet, and then collapsed to the ground and received medical attention for more than 20 minutes.
Players gathered around Hamlin, many of them kneeling in prayer during treatment.
Sergio Agüero fainted slightly and was taken to the hospital
According to ESPNHamlin was given oxygen as he left on a stretcher.
Play was temporarily suspended after discussions with the coaches of the two teams. (D)
