After more recurring failures, Tottenham are looking for a replacement for goalkeeper Hugo Lloris. In the search for a long-term successor, the Spurs are probing the Spaniard David Raya, who plays for Brentford.
According to the British newspaper The Telegraph, coach Antonio Conte’s club hopes to settle with the new goalkeeper for the mid-year window. Another name that would be on Tottenham’s radar is Jordan Pickford, who defends the goal of Everton and the English national team.

Raya has been playing for Brentford since 2019, when he transferred from Blackburn. In all, the 27-year-old has made 141 appearances for the Londoners, keeping 47 clean sheets (games without conceding goals) and being called up by Spain in the 2022 World Cup.
Tottenham’s poll comes after Frenchman Lloris misses out on some games in the Premier League. Team captain, the player is already 36 years old and is completing 10 seasons for the club.
Tottenham’s next game for the Premier League is the classic against Arsenal. Richarlison and Lucas Moura’s team will face the Gunners at home next Sunday (15).
