Real Sociedad draw with Sturm Graz in a game in which they missed a goal

Real Sociedad drew with Sturm Graz (1-1) the party corresponding to the fourth day from Europa League which played this Thursday at the Reale Arena. After adding a point, the txuri-urdin team remains second in group B with 6 points, since Monaco (leader with 8 points) and PSV (3rd with 5 points) tied no goals. Sturm Graz is bottom, with one point.

The San Sebastian team jumped onto the pitch with the intention of scoring as soon as possible and took possession of the ball. In minute 3 Silva missed a good chance after receiving a good pass from Aihen Muñoz and shortly after Sturm Graz responded with a shot from Jantscher that goalkeeper Remiro cleared. Portu had the goal half an hour into the game and in injury time on the clearest occasions for Real Sociedad, however he did not hit the rival goal. Sturm Graz were in the back hoping to come out on the counterattack, and gave another scare with a shot from Ljubic that Remiro saved, avoiding the goal. La Real forgave too much, did not specify the occasions they enjoyed and in the 38th minute the visiting team took the lead on the scoreboard: Sarkaria made a break for his band, assisted and Jakob Jantscher scored the first goal (0-1) after finishing at pleasure.

At the start of the second half, Real Sociedad achieved the tying goal in the 53rd minute; after a corner, Zubeldia prolonged the ball and Sorloth put the 1-1 on the scoreboard after sending his auction to the bottom of the net.

There the Austrian resistance dissolved and a txuri-urdin monologue began throughout the second half.
