With the return of João Félix, Portugal announces squad for the qualifiers

This Thursday, Portugal coach Fernando Santos announced the 26 names called up for the next two rounds of the qualifiers. The highlight is the return of João Félix, from Atlético de Madrid. The team will face Ireland, on the 11th, and Serbia, on the 14th.

The most felt absences were Pedro Gonçalves, from Sporting, Otávio and Sérgio Oliveira, from Porto, Trincão, from Wolverhampton and Gonçalo Guedes, from Valencia. Raphael Guerreiro and Domingos Duarte were out due to injury.

Prominent names such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes, from Manchester United, as well as João Cancelo, Rubén Dias and Bernardo Silva, from Manchester City, are all present in the list.
