This Tuesday, the Chelsea beat Bournemouth 2-0 for the 17th round of English Championship. Chosen as a starter by coach Graham Potter, the Brazilian Thiago Silva, 38 years old, reached the mark of 100 games for the London club.

The defender played the full 90 minutes of the game. He even felt discomfort in the opening minutes, moving with difficulty, but continued on the field.
Chelsea is the fourth club in which Thiago Silva has played 100 matches. The Brazilian also played in 147 matches for Fluminense, 119 for Milan and 315 for Paris Saint-Germain.
At Chelsea since 2020, Thiago Silva has already lifted three cups for the club: the Champions League, European Super Cup and Club World Cup, won over Palmeiras, all in 2021.
It is worth remembering that Thiago Silva was called up for four World Cups (2010, 2014, 2018 and 2022) with the Brazilian national team, totaling 15 games in the tournament. In all, he played 113 matches for Brazil, scoring seven goals.
Chelsea are back on the pitch next Sunday. The team visits Nottingham Forest, for the 18th round of the English Championship, at 1:30 pm (BrasĂlia time).
