The Bidasoa Irun player Kauldi Odriozola will leave the discipline of Bidasoa Irun at the end of this season to go to the French Nantes.
Odriozola (24 years old) arrived in Irun in June 2015. The player’s current contract lasted until 2023.
“It was a difficult decision,” acknowledged Odriozola, who recalled the seven seasons who has been in Irun: “They have been very good and beautiful seasons. I came here when I was 18, I was a child. We got promotion in Artaleku with an incredible atmosphere and the club and I have grown hand in hand all these years.”
Odriozola wanted to thank “the people and the fans, the board of directors, relatives and close people. It makes me sad, but it is an important step in my career.” With almost the entire current season ahead of him, the winger has called to “enjoy what’s left together” and to “try to achieve the goals we’ve set for ourselves.”
