Real Madrid owner Rodrygo made his debut at Santos four years ago, when he was promoted by coach Elano Blumer. The 20-year-old striker entered the second half of the 3-1 victory against Atlético-MG.

On the day of his debut, the attacker made an Instagram post saying he had achieved “a child’s dream”. “The happiest day of my life. At the age of 16, I fulfilled the dream of making my debut as a professional of this club, which I have been with since I was 10. The dream continues. Thank you, nation,” he wrote.
rodrygo went sold to Real Madrid in June 2018 for 45 million euros (R$193 million at the time), of which Santos received 80% (R$172 million).
