Euskaraz irakurri: Reala nagusitasunez gailendu zaio Coriari (0-5) final stage-hamaseirenetarako txartela eskuratu du
Real Sociedad beat Coria 0-5 This Wednesday, December 21 at the second round of the Copa del Rey that he played in Extremadura, and sealed his qualification for the round of 32.
Coria came out without complexes, with the lines advanced and controlling the ball in midfield, but the pairing Silva and Cho, by far the best of the match, quickly responded with the first dangerous arrival of the San Sebastian team before the goal of Varea. Seconds later, Brais Méndez starred in the first shot on goal that bounced off a defender from Cáceres and which was the start of Real Sociedad’s first goal, with a fantastic clearance by Cho on the left flank, assignment to Silva who crossed for Robert Navarro to finish off at will to make it 0-1 on the scoreboard with the right leg from the center of the area.
In the 10th minute, Coria’s first shot on goal was fired, with a shot from Santi Luque, very active during the first half, which Remiro saved in two halves. The Extremadurans added several minutes of good play, without hitting the ball and touching the ball short, but their good intentions were thwarted time and time again by Silva and Cho, great protagonists of the realistic attack.
In minute 17 came Real Sociedad’s second goal, the result of a Cho’s genius, who finished off with his left foot from the center of the area (0-2).
Far from being intimidated, Coria had their best chance in minute 34, with a fantastic run by Santi Luque with a final shot by Isma Cerro from the center of the area, which went to Remiro’s left. A small scare for the Real that was celebrated by the public with loud shouts of “yes we can” to encourage their own.
The joy did not last long, since in minute 45 Brais Méndez converted a penalty (0-3) committed by Deco after a foul on Silva inside the area.
At the restart, Imanol Alguacil could be seen repeatedly asking his players for more intensity, despite the fact that they clearly controlled all phases of the game and were focused on the Extremaduran field. Coria, better established than in the first half, knew how to withstand the pressure of the result for several minutes and contained the rushes of Real, who arrived before Varea’s goal with ease, although without luck in the last meters.
In minute 68, Brais Méndez had a good chance after taking a powerful shot, stepping on the large area that hit Varea’s body. The 0-4 came in the 79th minute after a successful shot by Jon Karrikaburu from the center of the area. Own Karrikaburu also made it 0-5 in the 84th minute with a shot with his right foot from the center of the area that ended the tie.
