Lointek Gernika concedes defeat against Virtus Bolonia

Lointek Gernika Bizkaia was defeated by Virtus Bolonia Segafredo (62-67) in the match corresponding to the fourth day from group stage from Eurocup. Despite the step back, the Biscayan team remains second in the group H classification behind the victory of the leader La Roche Vendée against Flammes Carolo (69-72).

The first ten minutes of the match were matched. Neither team managed to distance themselves on the scoreboard. The Italian team had a three-point lead (7-10) for a moment, and then the Basque team reacted (13-10). When there were three minutes left for the conclusion of the first quarter, the scoreboard showed a tie at fifteen points (15-15). In the end, the scoreboard favored Lointek Gernika (18-15).

Shortly after, the visitors tied the match (59-59), and even were ahead on the scoreboard (59-61). In the last minute of the game, Virtus Segafreo Bologna was superior and took the victory (62-67).
