The Basque federations reject the latest “violent incidents” that occurred on soccer fields

The Basque football federations They have issued a joint statement in which they express their “total condemnation and rejection” of the “violent incidents” that have “proliferated” in recent weeks in Basque countryside, reaffirming their “zero tolerance for those who carry out any uncivil behaviour”.

The note signed by the federations Biscayne, Gipuzkoan, Alavesa Y Basque underlines that “the great social and training work carried out by the clubs, coaches and football judges of the Basque Country cannot be tarnished by the conduct of a minority”.

The entities also show their “support and affection for all the people who have been affected by these sad events”, the last of which was a minor assistant referee assaulted by a spectator in trintxerpe during a game of Preferential Youth Guipuzcoan.

The assault occurred in the match Trintxerpe-Behobiaduring which, apparently, there was a brawl between players, at which point the alleged attacker burst onto the field of play and hit the assistant referee.
