Scarpa celebrates his first win for Nottingham Forest in a friendly against Valencia

The ex-palm trees Gustavo Scarpa was on the field once again for Nottingham Forest, from England, this Friday. The midfielder played for 30 minutes in the team’s friendly against Valencefrom Spain, and won his first victory with the new club.

After the match, which ended with a score of 2 to 1, Scarpa used his social networks to celebrate the positive result in the last friendly before the return of his team to official competitions. The Brazilian came on 15 minutes into the second half to replace Jesse Lingard. “First win! Good job guys!” wrote the midfielder.

The Valencia match was Scarpa’s third appearance for Nottingham Forest. The midfielder made his debut in the friendly against Atromitos, from Greece, but, despite providing two assists, he was defeated by 3-2. Last Saturday, he was on the field once again, in the 1-0 defeat against Olympiacos, also from Greece.

On Wednesday, Nottingham Forest returns to compete in official matches. The team will face Blackburn Rovers in the round of 16 of the English League Cup. Less than a week later, on December 27th, the English resumed the dispute for the Premier League and face the Manchester United🇧🇷
