The Guayas Provincial Athletics Association made a call for school students to participate in the selective tournament in which the representatives of the province will be chosen for the National Festival of Miniathletics and Combos.
The competition will take place from Tuesday, October 25 to Thursday, October 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., on the athletic track of the Alberto Spencer Herrera Model Stadium.

Minors who wish to participate must present themselves with their ID and a color copy of the document for registration.
The categories are combos, 12 and 13 years old (born in 2009 and 2010); track and field 8-9 (2014 and 2013); and mini-athletics 10-11 years (2012 and 2011).

On Tuesday the 25th, the trials for men and women will begin at 4:00 p.m. in the 60-meter dash. Combo 1, hurdles: high jump and hurdles. In 2, speed: long jump and hurdles. In the 3, in the background: ball throwing and 1,200 flat meters. In the 4th, march: ball throwing and 1,600 meter march. In the 5th, launching: impulse of the bullet and launching of the disc. In the 6, of jumps: long and high jump.
On Wednesday the 26th the mini-athletics will take place, the participants will be from 8 to 9 years old. In the modalities formula one, speed race and slalom, cross bounce, vortex launch and resistance race of four minutes.
On Thursday 27, children under 10 and 11 years old will compete in formula one, speed race and slalom, cross bounce, vortex launch and 8-minute endurance race. (D)
