Botafogo was pressured by Crystal Palace for nearly ninety minutes. Despite the tightness, the friendly played this Saturday morning, at Selhurst Park Stadium, in London, ended in a goalless draw.
Crystal Palace dominated the first half and lost good chances to go into the break winning, largely due to the brilliant performance of goalkeeper Lucas Perri. After ten minutes 10 minutes, the archer left at Edouard’s feet to save the goal. At 24, he appeared again when he defended a cross kick from Olise.
At 35 minutes the English team had its great opportunity in the initial stage. Adryelson brought down Zaha in the penalty area and English referee Andre Marriner had no qualms about awarding the penalty. The striker himself tapped, but Perri made a great save.

In the second half, the picture changed little, with Crystal Palace continuing to press. At 16 minutes Gordon took advantage of a good corner kick to head perfectly, but was prevented by the goalkeeper.
Botafogo gave the English a big scare at 20. After Marçal’s cross, Júnior Santos dominated, got rid of the defender and shot over the goal, with a lot of danger. At 25 minutes it was Adryelson’s turn to save in the small area, when Mateta was ready to push to the bottom of the net. Three minutes later, Cuesta saved the shot from the same player.
In the final minutes, Crystal Palace tried to advance their scoring line even further. Botafogo, on the other hand, tried to escape at the speed of names like Júnior Santos and LuÃs Henrique, but failed in the last pass. Thus, the game ended in the same 0 to 0.
Botafogo started the confrontation with the following lineup: Lucas Perri, Rafael, Adryelson, Victor Cuesta and Marçal; Tchê Tchê, Gabriel Pires and Lucas Fernandes; Gustavo Sauer, Jeffinho and Tiquinho Soares. During the match, Patrick de Paula, Júnior Santos, Jacob Montes, LuÃs Henrique and VÃctor Sá entered.
