Midfielder Gustavo Scarpa is already in England. Hired by Nottingham Forest in August, on a pre-contract basis, the former Palmeiras player landed on English soil this Friday and even visited the club’s training centre.
On his social networks, the Brazilian published a video in London after landing and spoke in good English, with a British accent.
“Hi partner. I’m really excited to be here,” said the player.
In the aftermath, Scarpa shared a photo of the Nottingham Forest CT entrance.
It should be noted that, at the moment, the English Championship is paused due to 2022 World Cup🇧🇷 Thus, clubs should only return to the lawns at the end of December, which could be beneficial for the midfielder, who will only be able to play in official matches in January 2023, when the period for signing up reinforcements will reopen.
Scarpa has a contract with palm trees until the end of 2022, but has already met with the Nottingham Forest cast to start the adaptation.
Despite the break in official competitions, Nottingham will play a series of friendlies that begin this Friday, at 4 pm (Brasília time), against Stoke City.
