‘It’s surprising that he says he gets along with everyone when he doesn’t. He lied about some things’, the forceful criticism of an Always Ready player against Jonathan Borja

Every day a new voice against Ecuadorian striker Jonathan Borja has been made public by his teammates at Always Ready in the Bolivian first division.

And it is that from the president, players and even the former coach Julio César Baldivieso have not hidden their disagreement with the behavior of the tricolor.

“That he doesn’t say hello”, “that he doesn’t join the team”, that he is a “rotten apple”, “a disappointment as a person” and until he “goes to the m…”, have been some of the phrases mentioned against the footballer .

The 28-year-old from Ibarra, on some occasions and despite the fact that most of the criteria of his colleagues are forceful against him, has denied this situation and even, in recent months, in an interview with a Quito radio station, pointed against a media outlet from Guayaquil (which he did not mention) that what was published was not true.

Last Monday, Borja, accompanied by his lawyers, filed a lawsuit against Baldivieso, his former coach, whom he called a “liar” and who turned his colleagues against him.

“Since I came to Always Ready, Mr. Borja has shown behaviors that are not those of a professional, in fact there is a history that he has had fights with his teammates, he never joined the group, he never wanted to train, he was late for training , all acts of indiscipline”, commented the Bolivian strategist.

Another element that added to the reproaches against the Ecuadorian was the Argentine forward Marcos Riquelme, who was frontal when saying “I don’t get along with him.”

“Honestly, I don’t have any kind of relationship with him (the tricolor), I said it at the time. He doesn’t get along with me, with various colleagues, we don’t greet each other,” said the gaucho.

“Do not say that he gets along with everyone, that he greets, in some things he lied is more than clear. I tell the truth,” added the attacker.

Riquelme, 33, said that Borja must “have proof” of all the accusations he has made and insisted that he does not have a good relationship with the Ecuadorian.

“I never had any relationship with him, only that of teammates and I’m surprised that he says he gets along with everyone when unfortunately he doesn’t,” he insisted.

“These are things that he says and people believe that it will be the problem of those people. If he says that he never missed training, that he did not have an act of indiscipline, these are his words, “Riquelme concluded. (D)
