Turkish club Fenerbahce reported a ligament problem in the Tricolor captain’s left ankle.
By injury, Enner Valencia has been admitted to a “conservative treatment” with his club, the Turkish Fenerbahce, less than two weeks before the Ecuadorian soccer team faces the November games of the South American qualifier to the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
The captain and all-time top scorer of the Tricolor (34 goals) played the entire match against Konyaspor on Saturday for matchday 11 of the Turkish Super League. It was a 2-1 defeat for Istanbul, who are seventh in the domestic classification and accumulate three consecutive falls.
On Sunday, Fenerbahce reported injuries to players, including the Ecuadorian: “A ligament injury was detected in Enner Valencia’s left ankle and conservative treatment was considered appropriate.”.
