‘Let him go to the m…!’, the response of an Always Ready player when referring to Jonathan Borja, whom the leadership describes as a ‘tumor’ already ‘extirpated’ for his ‘irresponsible’ attitude

The leadership of the Always Ready club announced the departure of Ecuadorian winger Jonathan Borja, whom they described as a “tumor” that has been “removed” along with his former coach, Julio César Baldivieso.

The 28-year-old tricolor signed for the Bolivian club in March of this season. And, months later, from the voice of Andrés Costa, president of the institution, it was learned that the man born in Ibarra did not have a good relationship with his colleagues.

Borja’s problem goes through the attitudes he has had with the team. They have called me players also expressing to me that he is not part of the groupthat he leaves, that he does not enter training ”, said the head of the entity.

“He has a relationship problem with the players; so it is very difficult. I have supported Borja, but it is complicated. I wanted to analyze the information well. I spoke with the squad, and the issue is that they are forty against one; and they all give me the same information: that Borja is sick, that he doesn’t say hello, doesn’t answer anyone, and the psychologist says that he doesn’t feel like anything. And I dont know”, added the manager in statements to the portal Page Seven.

Days later, in statements to a Quito radio station, the soccer player pointed out that it was “false information” that was published in a local media outlet, which he did not mention.

“I have to deny the information that was generated in a Guayaquil medium. This false news harms the player and, in my case, damaged several negotiations with some teams in the country, ”he asserted.

“It has been decided to remove the two tumors in the club, Baldivieso and Borja, because they have led their quarrels to divide the group and affect institutional interests. Therefore, the healthiest thing for the institution is to exclude them both,” Costa told the aforementioned website.

“Borja could have been a good player, but he has been very irresponsible,” added the manager, who also criticized Baldivieso (former Barcelona SC soccer player, who was also left out).

Costa denied that there was any favoritism on the part of DT towards the tricolor, who was also accused by his teammates of dividing the group.

“Baldivieso from the first minute was expecting anything to take advantage of and get him (the Ecuadorian) out,” said the club’s president.

From rotten fruit to going to the b…

The defeat suffered last Saturday, at home, by Always Ready against Aurora (0-1), was the trigger inside the team, where according to the highland press there were even “coups in the dressing room.”

At the end of the duel, the Ecuadorian’s teammates were forceful in expressing their discomfort with him and blamed him for the current situation of the club.

The truth is that because of a player, Borja, who could be good as a player, but as a person he is a disappointment, because I think that everything that is happening is because of him. It bothers me a lot that a player divides the group and that they blame the teacher, who has been doing things well. Some people ask Borja, where is Borja. Everything we have been building is going to shit for one player,” said Marc Enoumba, who is also a Bolivian national team.

Rodrigo Ramallo also did not hide his discomfort with the behavior of the ibarreño. A journalist asked him: “What do you think of Jonathan Borja?” And his response was: “Let him go to the m…”. (D)
