American UFC fighter Sean O’Malley said he would prefer a cheeseburger to herring under a fur coat
American mixed martial artist (MMA) Sean O’Malley shared his opinion about Russian cuisine. The video with the athlete was published in Twitter head of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Dana White.
In the video, a fighter tries a traditional Russian dish – a herring under a fur coat. The American said that he did not like the salad and would have preferred a cheeseburger. “I tried it and I said, ‘No wonder the Russians are so crazy.’ It was terrible, not tasty,” concluded O’Malley.
On July 20, it became known that O’Malley would fight against the Russian Petr Yan. The fight will take place as part of the UFC 280 tournament in Abu Dhabi on October 22.
On August 15, 2020, at UFC 252 in the co-main bout, O’Malley lost by technical knockout to Ecuadorian Marlon Ver. This is the only defeat in the fighter’s career with 15 victories. Another fight with his participation was declared invalid.
