Lewandowski is not here, and Bayern is playing. Declassification. First Góralski’s debut

Bayern Munich has already started the new season in great style without Robert Lewandowski in the squad. First, the team led by Julian Nagelsmann won 5: 3 against RB Leipzig in the German Super Cup, and then they beat Eintracht Frankfurt (6: 1) and VfL Wolfsburg (2: 0) in the Bundesliga. There were many indications that Bayern would have no major problems with VfL Bochum.

Bayern Munich concert with Jacek Góralski’s team. Mane’s third goal of the season is not recognized

From the very beginning of the match, Bayern Munich imposed its conditions and quickly began to come to shooting situations. Already in the third minute, Leroy Sane opened the scoring – he used Kingsley Coman’s pass and hit the Bochum goal window with his right foot.

Bayern was trying to take advantage of one of their opponents ‘Achilles’ heels earlier this season, namely defending corner problems. Joshua Kimmich threw the ball into the penalty area on 25 minutes, Matthijs de Ligt won the position against Christian Gamba before taking advantage of Manuel Riemann’s unsuccessful exit from the goal.

Gamboa was the main character in Bayern Munich’s third goal as he didn’t kick the ball well at first, then head-tapped it in such a way that he passed straight to Thomas Mueller, right next to the Bochum goalkeeper. Ultimately, the German missed the goal, but Kingsley Coman quickly took advantage of the situation. Bayern scored the fourth goal in the 40th minute thanks to Sadio Mane, but VAR noticed that the Senegalese played the ball with his hand, which in the end was not recognized. Mane was able to enjoy the goal two minutes later when he took advantage of Coman’s pass.

Bayern Munich scored the fifth goal in the 60th minute from the penalty spot, which Sadio Mane used without any problems. In the second half, Cristian Gamboa was unlucky again, as he scored an own goal this time. Serge Gnabry closed the scoreboard with a pass from Gabriel Vidovic. In the 68th minute, Jacek Góralski made his debut for Vfl Bochum, he replaced Philipp Forster.

Such a decisive win has left Bayern Munich as the only undefeated side in the Bundesliga, with nine points after three matches with a +14 goal balance. On the other hand, Vfl Bochum is last in the league with zero points and a goal balance of -9.
