The series was attended by cyclists from the following teams: G2R, Alpecin – Deceuninck, BORA – hansgrohe, EF Education – EasyPost, Groupama-FDJ, INEOS, Jumbo-Visma and QuickStep.
Netflix will shoot a series about TdF 2022
The creators of the series will use not only the sounds from the previously described places. They also had access to the team cars before, during and after the stages, where they shot exclusive videos.
A spokesman for the Jumbo-Visma team – Ard Bierens – confirmed to the Danish TV 2 Sport that Netflix will create a series in which this year’s TdF winner will be one of the main characters. For now, however, it is not known when the premiere of the series is planned.
Vingegaard won two stages of this year’s TdF, and remained the leader after Stage 11. Since then, the Dane has not given up the lead. Vingegaard by 2 minutes and 43 seconds ahead of the second in the general classification Slovenian -. The Briton Geraint Thomas was third.
Vingegaard did what he failed a year ago. In the last edition of TdF, Dane took second place behind Pogacar’s back.
