The selection of Germany beat (2-1) to France this Wednesday to reach the final of the Euro 2022which they will play on Sunday at Wembley against the host Englandthanks to a double of a alexandra popp.
The German captain put her team ahead in a final stretch of the first half in which the goals came. After a lot of pressure and intensity from both teams, in search of dominance and chances, popp she caught a cross almost in the small area, winning the game over her defender, smelling the goal from a distance.
However, France went into the break 1-1, thanks to a shot from afar by Dianawhich from the post went to the goal frohms and then to the network.
After the break, the game became dense in the center of the field, a battle in which it was difficult to win lines and reach the rival field. France did not throw in the towel and had their arrivals, but without aim.
Germany, eight times champion, will seek a title that they have not tasted since 2013, against an England that, after beating Sweden in the semifinals on Tuesday (4-0), will seek at home the title that has eluded them so far, finalist in 1984 and 2009.
