Those Russians who are already planning it for 2023 and want to win as much money as possible should take a vacation in August or October. Alexander Yuzhalin, Director of the Legal Practice Department for Labor Law of SuperJob, spoke about this in an interview with RIA Novosti.
According to him, “for those Russians who are already planning their vacation for 2023 and want to win as much as possible in money, it is best to take it in August and October, a little worse in June, July, December.”
According to the expert, the most unfavorable months for going on vacation next year are January, February, April, May. “If you decide to use vacation during these months, you will most likely lose a significant amount of money (in vacation pay) compared to wages. Therefore, during these months it is profitable to work and receive a salary for the time worked, ”advised Yuzhalin.
He noted that the definition of profitable and unprofitable months – if we consider a short explanation – depends on how many working days there are in a month.
“From a financial point of view, it is more profitable to use vacation in those months in which there are the most working days, since the payment for one day at average earnings will be higher than the cost of one day worked,” the expert emphasized.
So, in August and October next year, there are the most working days: 23 and 22, respectively. For comparison, in April and May 2023, 20 working days each.
Earlier it became known that the New Year holidays in 2023 will last nine days – from December 31 to January 8. According to the published calendar, in February, the Russians are waiting for a four-day weekend from the 23rd to the 26th, in March the eighth will be non-working. The May weekend will last from April 29 to May 1 and from May 6 to May 9, in June the weekend from 10 to 12 will be long. Also, a long weekend awaits the Russians in November, from the 4th to the 6th.
