Coronavirus in Russia over the past day was detected in another 3 thousand 80 people (yesterday – 3 thousand 285), follows from the data of the federal operational headquarters to combat the new infection.

In Moscow, 371 people fell ill with coronavirus per day, in the Northern capital – 248.

In general, since the beginning of the pandemic, the diagnosis has been confirmed in 18 million 439 thousand 759 people.

At the same time, the number of deaths due to coronavirus in Russia amounted to 47 per day (51 a day earlier). Of these, in the capital – 13, and in St. Petersburg – 10. The number of victims of coronavirus for all time is 381 thousand 263.

During the reporting period, 510 people were hospitalized with a diagnosis of COVID-19 (a decrease of 54% compared to the previous day).

According to the operational headquarters, 2,595 people recovered from coronavirus over the past day.

Meanwhile, according to the American Johns Hopkins University, the number of registered cases of coronavirus infection in the world on the morning of July 3 reached 548 million 828 thousand, and since the beginning of the spread of the virus in the world after infection with COVID-19, 6 million 338 thousand 519 people have died.

We also add that on July 1, the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare decided to cancel the previously imposed restrictions from today due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. The corresponding decree was signed by the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova.

“The intensity of the COVID-19 epidemic process has been falling for four months in a row. Therefore, a decision was made to remove the requirements for wearing hygienic masks, restrictions on the work of catering establishments at night and other anti-COVID measures,” the ministry’s Telegram channel said.

At the same time, they warned that “if the epidemiological situation worsens, some restrictions can be restored.”
