A party of Halloween (Feast of witches) ended in terror when the people who enjoyed that celebration in a house were shot at dawn on Monday, November 1, in Santo Domingo. For this, there were two deaths and three wounded.
The fatalities were two brothers, who were riddled with hitman style by two subjects (still unknown) who fired more than 20 shots at them, according to witnesses.
The event occurred in the sector known as Unificados, between Bahía de Caráquez and Pasaje streets, in the city of Santo Domingo.
Jaime Salazar, commander of the Police in the province of Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, said that the people were surprised by two motorists, who used firearms.
The dead were identified as Adrián Arturo Heredia Caldas and André Luis Heredia Caldas. The latter with a judicial record, according to the records of the National Police.
“They are selective deaths, carried out in a private space, which could really be classified as a settling of accounts,” said Salazar about the motivation for the murder of the brothers.

He added that after collecting reports from neighbors and the first police inquiries, it is hypothesized that these deaths would be related to the control of spaces that seek to take over the gangs for illicit activities, such as the sale of narcotics. The assassins allegedly wore hoods at the time of the attacks.
Of the injured people, one has already been discharged from the medical home to which she was referred for care.
There is also a 15-year-old girl injured, she has a gunshot rub on her back. And a third affected is with a reserved prognosis.
The police carry out operations to find those responsible for this new act of blood in Santo Domingo.
Arrested for murder in Chone, Manabí
In Chone, Manabí province, the arrest of Johnny René FL, who had an arrest warrant and the start of a prosecutorial investigation for murder, took place. He is accused of being involved in the death of Juan Carlos Zamora Zambrano, murdered on December 13, 2020 in the Bolívar canton.
After that event, Johnny FL was apprehended at the time, but was later released, according to the police report.

In this way, on October 13, 2021, they obtained the ticket with preventive detention for the citizen Johnny René FL for the crime of murder ”, it is stated in a statement from the Police.
