The holiday still has three days left and the highlight of the activities in some cities will be in these days. Cuenca, which this Wednesday, November 3, celebrates 201 years of independence, has several events planned between this Monday and Wednesday.
The city has received a significant influx of visitors in these first days and therefore designed dozens of activities to try to promote the economic reactivation of the canton.
The Municipal Corporation allocated $ 359,000 for the independence festivities, of which $ 299,000 will be paid to local artists, managers and producers.
