The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (Inamhi) issued a short-term forecast on temperature drop in the Inter-Andean region (localities greater than 2,800 meters above sea level).
The entity anticipates that the greatest decreases could occur in the provinces of Cotopaxi, Chimborazo, Pichincha, Bolívar, Tungurahua and Azuay.
In the same way, between 04:00 and 06:00, the temperature at a medium level is expected to be between 5 °C and 7 °C, while the localities with a high level would have between 2 °C and 4 °C.
The scenario will be recurring in the coming days, although with variable values.
