However, an investigation carried out by the newspaper El Confidencial revealed that the gifted sometimes face a lot of misunderstanding, especially children, since most of them attend traditional educational centers in which they can be branded as strangers.
Are gifted people different?
In the work carried out by the Spanish media, they cited a study carried out by High Ability Studies, in the United States, where it was analyzed whether gifted people fit within the five major personality traits: extraversion, conscientiousness, openness to experience, neuroticism and kindness.
The study took a sample of 8,000 people, between gifted and non-gifted groups, to see which personality traits were significantly correlated with talent. Although there were no great differences between them, the trait of openness to experience did correlate more strongly with gifted people.
