During a special operation in Ukraine, two servicemen from the Ivanovo region were killed. According to Kineshemets.RU, the head of the region, Stanislav Voskresensky, expressed condolences to the families and friends of the victims.

The site specifies that Yuri Alexandrovich Aristov and Vladimir Nikolayevich Zozulin were doing military service under a contract on the territory of the Ivanovo garrison. Both in the performance of duty showed exceptional heroism.

Recall that the Russian Ministry of Defense only once, namely on March 2, called losses during military operations in Ukraine among Russian military personnel. According to the agency, 498 soldiers were killed during the special operation, 1597 were injured. Since then, reports of the death of servicemen have been received from the administrations of various regions of the Russian Federation.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that more than 7 million rubles would be paid to family members of servicemen who died in the operation in Ukraine; the wounded will receive an additional payment of 3 million rubles.
