Violent deaths and armed attacks do not stop in the province of Esmeraldas. Only on the night of this Monday 21 two of these events were recorded. And in the morning there was another hit-man-style murder outside a workshop, it was indicated.
The most recent case occurred around 8:00 p.m. this Monday, in the Palestina neighborhood, in the city of Rioverde, in the north of the province of Esmeraldas.
There, they shot a married couple while they were outside their home.
The bullets hit the man and woman, causing serious injuries, it was said. Both were taken to the Rioverde type C health subcenter.

Residents of the sector say they are alarmed by this new attack in the Palestine neighborhood. The latter because last February 29 there were five wounded in a shooting recorded in this area. Among those injured were a police officer and three minors.

In contrast, in Esmeraldas, the provincial capital, two citizens died after being shot in two different places.
One of these events was recorded in the area known as stop 10, on Sucre street, where unknown individuals arrived and shot a citizen directly. No further details of this case are yet known.
Another murdered hitman style
I was outside a motorcycle workshop, on Av. Olmedo between San José Obrero and Imbabura streets, downtown Esmeraldas, when armed individuals arrived and murdered a man in a hitman style.
At the site, police officers confirmed that the victim had injuries to the chest and one of his legs.
Ruffo RodrÃguez, an official from the Esmeraldas District, indicated that the victim was immediately taken to a health home, where the doctors tried to save his life, but he could not resist the injuries.

The police chief indicated that the riddled man had been released from jail a month ago.
According to witnesses, the attackers had arrived on a motorcycle.
Said vehicle was abandoned by the antisocials in the middle of a police chase that took place after the attack, it was indicated. (I)
