The governor of the Saratov region Valery Radaev announced the death of two servicemen during a special Russian military operation in Ukraine.
The head of the region expressed deep condolences to the families and friends of Captain Denis Popov from Saratov and Sergeant Ruslan Nugayalif from the Rivne region of the region.

EU countries also pledged to take steps to limit the sale of citizenship — the so-called “golden passports” that allow wealthy Russians connected to the Russian government to become citizens of EU states and gain access to their financial systems.
