The Cheryomushkinsky District Court of Moscow placed Roman Korolev, a lawyer at the ExLedge Bar Association, under house arrest. The lawyer is accused of attempted embezzlement of 7.5 million rubles. from the partner of his client, who is under investigation for drug trafficking. He allegedly wanted to transfer this money to the court so that the scope of the charges and the qualification of the defendant’s actions were changed there. Korolev’s lawyer fully admitted his guilt.
According to the investigation cited by Kommersant, during negotiations with Korolev, the woman tried several times to bring down the price for such services of a lawyer, but in the end agreed to his demand. She received 150 thousand rubles from the operatives. and a money “doll” imitating 7.35 million rubles marked with a special solution. During their transfer, the lawyer was detained.
During the interrogation, Korolev fully admitted his guilt and repented. The Cheryomushkinsky Court of Moscow chose a measure of restraint for him in the form of house arrest.
