CEO for a month: a job proposal for young people, learn how to participate

doCan you imagine having the opportunity to experience being a general manager??, that is what you are looking for Adecco Groupa leading Human Resources solutions company that launched its global initiative ‘CEO For One Month’ in Ecuador.

Thanks to this opportunity, 47 young people from various countries where the firm operates, will have the opportunity to experience what it means to be the general manager of Adecco. This activity seeks to promote youth employability, while attracting and fostering young talent to guide their first steps in the labor market.

It is not the first time that the country has been included in the list of participating countries, the sixth edition occurred in 2020.

“Our greatest interest with this initiative is that young people can learn about the work of a CEO. Provide them with their first experience in the development of a job interview, the evaluations that this process implies, and in the case of winning, they have the opportunity to work for a month with Joan Solans, CEO of Adecco Colombia & Ecuador and the managers of each country, so that they get involved in their work agenda and have a real practice in the world of work”, pointed out Leidy Johana Niño, Marketing specialist at Adecco Colombia.

And then?

Once the application admission period is over, a local selection is made. As part of this process, heApplicants must upload their resumes to the system, hold virtual interviews and carry out assessments (chores)just as if it were a job interview in times of pandemic.

After the first instancea winner will be selected who will become the CEO for a Month of Adecco Colombia and Ecuadorand will work alongside the CEO of both countries, receiving salary compensation.

But that’s not all, ending the period of one month All the winners of the global initiative will participate in a second stage to become the Global CEO of Adecco.

In the stage will be selected the top ten candidates worldwidewho will go on to the final stage, where they will be able to accompany the Global CEO of the Adecco Group, Alain Dehaze, in all your daily activities for five weeks.

In 2018, Ecuadorian Diego Utreras was among the ten finalist candidates worldwide and participated in a week of a bootcamp in London for working for a month with the Global CEO of Adecco

The initiative started in 2015 and from that moment, approximately, 350 talented young people have had the opportunity to do internships and continue to lead the Adecco Group in their respective countries of residence for a full month, experiencing first-hand what it takes to lead an international company.
