Warsaw authorities will send a bailiff to seize Russian real estate. According to RIA Novosti, this statement was made by the press secretary of the mayor’s office of the capital of Poland, Monika Boyt-Lutuk.

According to her, we are talking about old buildings on Sobieski and Kieletska streets. Boyt-Lutuk specified that Russian diplomats had previously lived in one of the buildings. It is now unoccupied and in need of renovation. In the other, there is a school at the Russian Embassy in Poland. Whether it is currently operational is unknown.

At the request of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland, enforcement proceedings were initiated to remove the premises from Russian ownership. Based on the results of the inspection, the Warsaw authorities were allowed to send bailiffs to the buildings.

Boyt-Lutuk stated that the Warsaw authorities coordinated their actions with the Polish Foreign Ministry.

Boyt-Lutuk also stressed that several letters were sent to the Russian side to resolve this issue, but they all remained unanswered.
