US President Joe Biden signed an initiative to finance the government of the country for the remaining current fiscal year in the amount of $1.5 trillion. In particular, it is planned to allocate $13.6 billion for humanitarian, military and economic assistance to Ukraine.

Biden commended Congressional leaders for working quickly to secure resources so that the US government can “strongly respond” to the Ukraine crisis.

The UK has also expanded sanctions against Russia, introducing new restrictions against more than 350 Russian individuals and entities. The sanctions affected Viktor Zolotov, Yuri Chaika, Sergei Sobyanin, Konstantin Ernst, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Dmitry Chernyshenko, Andrei Turchak, Sergei Roldugin, the family of Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Pesokva, as well as Russian propagandists, including Vladimir Solovyov, Olga Skabeeva, Tigran Keosayan, Roman Babayan, Zakhar Prilepin, Anton Krasovsky, etc.
