Fox News reported the death of a Ukrainian journalist near Kiev

Together with Fox News TV channel operator Pierre Zakrzewski, Ukrainian journalist Alexandra Kuvshinova died in the village of Gorenka in the Kiev region, the channel reports.

According to the channel, Kuvshinova worked as a consultant for Fox. The journalists were killed when their car came under fire.

This information was also confirmed in his Telegram channel by the adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko.

Recall that Zakrzewski worked on the material together with correspondent Benjamin Hall in the village of Gorenka. The car, on which the employees of the TV channel were moving, came under fire. Hall was wounded as a result, and Zakrzewski died.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin made an emergency appeal to the Russians and announced a special military operation in the Donbass. In his speech, he stated that “circumstances require decisive action from Russia” and stressed that “Russia will not allow Ukraine to have nuclear weapons.” In response to Russia’s actions, Western countries (USA, Canada, EU, UK, Japan) announced new, tougher sanctions against the Russian Federation, including financial and economic ones.
