The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (Inamhi) issued a weather bulletin for rain and thunderstorms valid until March 15. The notice indicated that the frequency and intensity of rains will increase in different sectors of the national territory. The biggest events are likely to take place between Saturday, March 12 and Monday, March 14.
In the Coastal region, the rains will be concentrated mainly in the interior of the region. In the Inter-Andean alley, rainfall of variable intensity, greater intensity in the north, south and foothills of the mountain range.
In the Amazon region, widespread rains throughout the region, in several cases with electrical storms and with greater intensity to the north and foothills of the mountain range. In the Insular region, occasional rainfall of light and moderate intensity is likely.
The entity also indicated that for Tuesday the 15th and Wednesday the 16th rainy events and storms are expected in several locations, as well as a decrease in night temperatures in the south of the Andean region and an increase in the Litoral region.
