Sweaters, trousers, ski suits, swimwear, gloves, ties, etc. are not allowed to be exported if the US wholesale price is over $1,000 per item.

American gems and jewelry will become unavailable to Russians.

The export of concert grand pianos, watches, art objects and collectibles is also prohibited.

Marine engines, snowmobiles, motorcycles, some cars, including electric vehicles, will become unavailable.

The Bureau of Industry and Security at the US Department of Commerce explained that the supply of goods from the list to Russia will require a license from the US exporter or foreign re-exporter, which will generally be denied. Similar restrictions apply to Belarus. All goods from the list will not be able to buy Russians and Belarusians – wherever they are – included in the US sanctions lists.

The European Union and Great Britain also announced their intention to introduce a ban on the supply of luxury goods to Russia. However, they have not yet published legally binding documents on the new sanctions.
