Alfa-Bank introduced from March 11 a commission for withdrawing cash from credit cards – it is 5.9% (900 rubles). It is reported by “Kommersant”.

The bank’s website states that these measures apply to those credit card holders who can withdraw up to 50,000 rubles a month for free. The main conditions for credit cards, the report says, have not changed – the grace period for purchases, transfers from card to card and cash withdrawals remains. Also, you can still not pay interest for up to 100 days.

The bank explained that the change in the amount of commission is due to an increase in the key rate of the Central Bank.

Recall that when withdrawing cash from ATMs of Alfa-Bank, the amount of the commission is visible. Thus, the client can decide whether to withdraw funds or better pay with a card without losing 900 rubles.

As early as March 7, the bank’s press service organized a mailing list with this news by e-mail and in a mobile application, however, according to Podyom, there are also those customers who claim that they did not receive any notifications.
